Shipping policy

We have attempted to unify our shipping policy to make it more comprehensive and easier to understand. We now charge for all deliveries unless you qualify for free delivery. Free delivery is set at different rates depending on where your delivery address is.

We use our own in-house fulfilment warehouse and some third-party fulfilment centres. By unifying the post and packaging charges, we hope to simplify the process. You may receive your order in separate packages or deliveries, depending on where they come from.

Scottish Highlands & Islands, IoM, & Channel Islands

Each fulfilment centre uses different logistics providers. In order to keep delivery costs to a minimum, we may in some cases need to move product between warehouses before sending and in some cases sending your order out in different parcels so that they may arrive at different times. We reserve the right to make these decisions as needed at our discretion to reduce the cost of delivery to us. We will endeavour to inform you of how your delivery will be delivered y sending you the tracking numbers for each delivery.

Some third party warehouses and fulfilment centres have holiday periods that differ from our own. In these cases, products order that normally come from these centres will be delayed. Products ordered from centres that are not affected will be sent as usual.

Working Days

For all couriers and Royal Mail, working days are Monday to Friday. Most of them do actually work on Saturdays, however for the purposes of delivery schedules, they are not included, although you may receive your parcel on a Saturday.

Specific Saturdays services are available via RM and certain other couriers.

Parcels are sent with specific delivery estimates, typically:

  • Next Business Day
  • 2 working Days
  • 2 - 3 working days
  • 2 - 5 working days

Working days are considered Monday to Friday, excluding bank and public holidays. Saturdays are not considered working days, but many couriers will attempt delivery on Saturday

Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class services are typically 2 days and 3 days, but both carry an additional 10 working days before they are considered late by the Royal Mail.

Please note: unless otherwise stated, all time frames are a delivery estimate and NOT a guarantee.

Please note: Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish highlands, Scottish islands & Northern Ireland will only use RM services. If you select and pay for an upgraded service, we will convert it to the relevant RM service. If you need to use a specific service or carrier in these areas, then please contact us before you place the order as most courier companies put high surcharges on for these locations, these surcharges will need to be paid with the order and a quote will be required beforehand. Therefore, if you contact us after purchase, then we cannot guarantee to get the service you require, but will still attempt to if your order has not already been processed, however the surcharge will still need to be paid and may incur an admin fee.

Overseas Buyers

All items going overseas are currently sent DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid). Most locations have no choice in the matter, but the EU can have DDP, but we currently do not, therefore all overseas parcels will be DDU. This means that when your parcel arrives in your country, you will be contacted by your local customs authority to pay the duty that is due on the parcel. In some countries, you can pay it on delivery. Please do not ask us to change or alter the cost of good or what the goods are to defeat duty and taxes, we will not do it. It is illegal to do so.

(We are currently investigating DDP deliveries to the EU. Your delivery may come Delivery Duty Paid. Get in touch for more information or to help us to try it out on your delivery).

If a parcel is returned because of non-payment of duty, we will deduct all costs to us as well as a 15% restock fee.

Royal Mail (RM)

We have absolutely no control over RM and their collection schedule, therefore they can change their pickup times and occasionally due to operation reasons they do not collect at all on a specific day.

Due to RM staff strike action, busy times and staff shortages or other operational reasons, RM may not collect your parcel as expected. We understand how frustrating this can be, but it is out of our hands, and it will be collected as soon reasonably possible.

Not all RM services have tracking available, but we try to provide tracked services where we can.

Yodel, FedEx (and other services)

These parcels are picked up usually around 10am. Orders received after 08:30 will usually be processed the next business day. These services usually have a tracking number provided, so you can track your item.

We have absolutely no control over the pickup of these items, and so they may occasionally be picked up earlier than expected or not at all on a specific day, due to operational reasons.

DPD (Specific next business day orders)

Certain orders fulfilled from some of our warehouses have an absolute order cut-off of 15:00. This is the time we must have the order completed with the warehouse, not your order time. This means we must have received your paid order and processed it with the warehouse before that time. To facilitate this, the order cut-off for these orders is 12:00, but we will continue to try to get orders placed after this time through as well, but the cut-off is absolute. Orders placed after cut-off will be completed on the following business day.

Weight Limits

Most of the couriers have weight limits. We try our best to keep the costs as low as possible, Most of them run a 0g to 99g, a 100g to 1000g and a 1000g and above.
